Dark cherry color with a slight brick edge. Deep, juicy and full! Strong, layered aromas of spicy cherries, candied fruit, orange peel, star anise, and earth in perfect balance with the wood tones. Also hints of plum, leather, smoke, balsamic and cedar mingle with delightful floral aromas as the wine opens. On the palate it shows delicious raspberry, plum and meaty tones. Smooth texture, well-balanced tannins and acidity. Long finishes that shows the vanilla from the barrel. Complex and mature.
